Removing Duplicate Courses
- Close any software or applications that may be running. Only the Desktop should be visible.
- Open your current version of FSX 2020 using the desktop shortcut or any other preferred method.
- Go to ‘Play’ mode
- Start a ‘New Game’ to access the course library.
- Identify courses with errors. (e.g. Duplicate, Not Purchased)
- Close all the FSX 2020 software. Only the Desktop should be visible.
- Open the Windows File explorer using the yellow folder in the task bar or the desktop shortcut.
- Navigate to ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports Experience\Courses’
- This Folder is where the FSX 2020 software looks for information to populate the course library with.
- In this folder, you can see all the courses and their corresponding version number. (e.g 'The.Crossings.v2.1.2.NGP' )
- The version number is the number at the end of the file, in this case, 2.1.2.
Identify the problem courses
- Remove the problem courses
- Duplicate Course
If a course shows up multiple times, be sure to leave only the highest course-version
- Not Purchased
If a course has not been purchased, remove all instances.
