Removing Duplicate Courses

  1. Close any software or applications that may be running. Only the Desktop should be visible.
  2. Open your current version of FSX 2020 using the desktop shortcut or any other preferred method.


  1. Go to ‘Play’ mode 


  1. Start a ‘New Game’  to access the course library.


  1. Identify courses with errors. (e.g. Duplicate, Not Purchased) 


  1. Close all the FSX 2020 software. Only the Desktop should be visible.


  1. Open the Windows File explorer using the yellow folder in the task bar or the desktop shortcut.


  1. Navigate to ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports Experience\Courses’
  1. This Folder is where the FSX 2020 software looks for information to populate the course library with. 
  2. In this folder, you can see all the courses and their corresponding version number. (e.g  'The.Crossings.v2.1.2.NGP'  )
  3. The version number is the number at the end of the file, in this case, 2.1.2.

Identify the problem courses


  1. Remove the problem courses


  1. Duplicate Course

If a course shows up multiple times, be sure to leave only the highest course-version


  1. Not Purchased

If a course has not been purchased, remove all instances.
