Point Grey Camera - Camera Not Working in Original FSX/FSX 2018
The information below assumes you are able to identify that your camera is correctly connected and communicating to your computer. However, you continue to have issue using the camera within the Foresight Sports Original FSX/FSX2018 Software.
If you are experiencing issues with your Point Grey/FLIR GigE camera working with Original FSX or FSX 2018, please see the steps below:
- Uninstall any and all versions of FlyCapture currently on your computer(look for "FlyCap" and "FlyCapture" through the "Uninstall a Program" menu in the Control Panel)
- Install the latest FlyCap Viewer from https://www.ptgrey.com/support/downloads
As of writing this notice, the exact file you will need to install from ptgrey is -
- "FlyCapture 2.12.3.31 Viewer - Windows (64-bit) — 06/20/2018 - 58.1464MB"
Newer versions may be released, but attempt this version first to test if it has resolved the problem for you and then move on to newer releases if not.
Please note, simply installing 2.12 over 2.11 does not fix the issue. If you continue to have trouble please contact Foresight Sports Customer Support.
