If your Falcon misses a shot, shows missing club data, or provides results that don’t look right, you can save a diagnostic file using the Foresight Sports Hardware Diagnostic Tool (HDT). This file shows what the Falcon cameras saw and allows Support to review the issue.


Before you begin

  • Ensure your Falcon is powered on and connected to your PC.

  • Install the Foresight Sports Hardware Diagnostic Tool (HDT) if it isn’t already installed.

    • You can download HDT from our Support site or request it from your Support representative.

  • Take a shot that demonstrates the problem (missed, incorrect, or incomplete data).

    ⚠️ Each new swing and/or ball lock overwrites the previous file, so save immediately after the issue occurs.


How to save a diagnostic shot with HDT

  1. On your PC, with FSX Play or FSX 2020 running (driving range preferred), replicate the shot or type of shot presenting the concern

    • Important Note: Each new swing and/or ball lock overwrites the previous file

  2. Minimize FSX Play or FSX 2020 by using Windows+M, or using Alt+Tab

  3. Launch the HardwareDiagnosticToolGUI on your PC.

    • Typically located: C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports\Hardware Diagnostic Tool

  4. Select your Falcon device from the device list (In Section 1)

  5. Allow the HDT to connect to your Falcon.

    • If connected successfully it will automatically move from Section 2 to Section 3

  6. In Section 3; select the club being used from the drop down

    • Once a club is selected it will automatically move from Section 3 to Section 4

  7. In Section 4; select all applicable/suspected issues

  8. Once all applicable/suspected issues are checked, click on SEND SHOT

    • Please send 5-6 shots minimum of replicated issue/concern

  9. Once 5-6 shots have been sent through the HDT, please reply to your ticket to inform the Agent you have completed these steps


Helpful to include

When sending files, please also provide:

  • Falcon Serial#

  • Which issue occurred (missed shot, no club data, or incorrect data).

  • Is this a new issue, or has it been ongoing?

  • Does it happen with one club type or multiple?

  • Are you indoors, outdoors, or both?

  • A photo of your hitting area.

  • A photo of your club face if stickers are used.

  • A short video of a swing, if available.


Troubleshooting tips

  • If the HDT does not find your device in Section 1, please restart the HDT and try again

  • If the HDT fails to send shot data, please restart the HDT and try again

  • Always save immediately after the problem shot
