How to Install or Update FSX Play

FSX Play is the primary golf simulation software for Foresight Sports devices, including the GC3, GCQuad, and Falcon.
This guide explains how to download, install, and update FSX Play on a Windows PC.
You’ll also learn what to do if an update fails to install.

Minimum Requirements (software will run, but performance may be limited):

  • 64-bit Windows 10 or newer

  • Intel i5 7th Gen or higher

  • 8 GB RAM

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 / RTX 2060

Recommended Specifications (for optimal performance):

  • Intel i7/i9 10th Gen or newer

  • 16 GB RAM or higher

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, 3080, 3090, or newer

  • RTX 40- and 50-series GPUs are also supported and recommended for high-resolution or multi-display setups

  • Solid State Drive (SSD/NVMe) for faster load times

⚠️ Note: AMD CPUs and GPUs are not recommended or supported for use with Foresight Sports software.

Download and Install FSX Play

  1. Go to support.foresightsports.com.

  2. Select Software > FSX Play.

  3. Scroll Down and Click Download Software Installation.

  4. Run the installer and follow on-screen steps.

  5. Log in with your FSX Live account when prompted.

    • For Purchased FSX Play Licenses:
Enter the FSX Play activation code included in your original fulfillment email.

    • For Subscription Users (Launch Pro / Launch Pro Indoor / GC3s):
Simply sign in with the same FSX Live username and password used for your active subscription; no activation code is required.

Updating FSX Play

FSX Play automatically checks for updates each time it is launched.

If a new version is available, a notification will appear in the top-right corner of the main menu.
Select Update Now when prompted, and FSX Play will download and install the latest version automatically.

If you accidentally dismiss the update prompt or the update fails:

  • Close FSX Play and restart it to re-trigger the update prompt.

  • If no prompt appears, manually reinstall the latest version by downloading the newest installer from support.foresightsports.com.
(Reinstalling does not affect your saved data or course licenses.)

Troubleshooting Failed Updates

If FSX Play fails to update:

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to uninstall old versions first?
A: No, FSX Play updates automatically over your existing install.

Q: Will updates remove my purchased courses?
A: No, your courses are tied to your FSX Live account, not the local install.

Q: Why doesn’t my update complete?
A: Usually due to antivirus interference or lack of admin rights; right-click the installer and choose Run as Administrator.
