How to Install or Update FSX 2020

FSX 2020 is Foresight Sports’ legacy simulation software. It does not include a Download Manager and requires all software and courses to be downloaded and installed manually. While FSX 2020 remains supported for activation and licensing, it is no longer receiving new updates.

There are three separate versions of FSX 2020, each with different activation requirements:

  • FSX 2020 (Standard)
Uses FSX LIVE login and activation codes.

  • FSX 2020 Dongle Edition
Uses a physical USB dongle for activation. Does not use FSX LIVE.

  • FSX 2020 Subscription
Separate installer for FSX Subscription users. Activated with subscription credentials.

It is important to download the correct version for your license type.

Before You Begin

You will need:

  • A Windows PC that meets FSX 2020 requirements

  • Internet access

  • Administrative rights on the PC

Know which version applies to you:

  • If you have an FSX LIVE activation code → install FSX 2020 (Standard)

  • If you were issued a USB dongle → install FSX 2020 Dongle Edition

  • If you have an active FSX Subscription → install FSX 2020 Subscription

Updating FSX 2020

FSX 2020 does not update automatically.

  2. Compare your installed version with the version listed online.

  3. If the online version is newer, download and run the installer over your current installation.

  4. Your settings and installed courses will remain intact.

Installing Courses and Content
