GCHawk Missed Shots - Saving Shots For Support Review

Here is a link to download the Hawk Diagnostic Tool v1.3.2.0

Please see the options below to save shots from your GCHawk for support Submission:

 

Option 1: Hawk Diagnostic Tool Normal Mode

  1. Once you have a shot identified to save, open the Hawk Diagnostic Tool.
  2. Disconnect the GCHawk from FSX (it may work without this step but want to mention to be safe)
  3. Make sure no other shots are hit and, if possible, avoid putting a golf ball in the hitting zone.
  4. Connect to the GCHawk (Box 1)
  5. Select the club being used (Box 3)
  6. Check the appropriate issue for the shot and put any other relevant information in the comments section (Box 4)
  7. Click send shot to send the data to our server.
  8. Disconnect the Hawk from HDT (there should be a notification to click at the bottom) and repeat the process.
  9. Send me a notification that shot(s) have been sent along with the GCHawk serial number.

 

Option 2: Hawk Diagnostic Tool Console Mode

  1. Once you have a shot identified to save, open HDT.exe from directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports\Hawk Diagnostic Tool\Console
  2. Disconnect the GCHawk from FSX (it may work without this step but want to mention to be safe)
  3. Make sure no other shots are hit and, if possible, avoid putting a golf ball in the hitting zone.
  4. Scan for GCHawk with command "scan"
  5. Connect to GCHawk with command "connect <ip address>"
  6. Save the shot with command "save ball"
    • Note: If you ever need to save a club shot, the command "save club" can be used"
  7. Locate the saved shot in directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports\Hawk Diagnostic Tool\Console
  8. Send me the shot file(s) along with the GCHawk serial number and notes for the shot(s).

Other helpful tip:

  • When hitting from the left handed zone, it is possible for a right handed golfer to block the far left camera with either their head/body or their golf club. You may want to get a video of the error actually occurring to see if any obstruction is taking place during the swing.

 

To submit the saved shots, please either upload or locate and send the saved shots through an email to support@foresightsports.ca Be sure to include any useful details related to the shot you took, the type of club in use, and the frequency of the issues occurrence. Please also include photos of the fiducials you are using on your clubs.
