FSX Pro: Stuck on EULA / User Agreement (Legacy Fix)

FSX Pro: Stuck on EULA / User Agreement (Legacy Fix)

This issue is fixed in current FSX Pro builds. If you still get stuck on the EULA/Agreement or a perpetual loading screen, use the steps below—then update to the latest release.

Warning (read first)
Clearing the FSX Pro data folder deletes locally stored app data (you’re removing corrupted files). Proceed only if you’re okay with that.

Before you begin

  • Windows PC with admin rights and internet for first run.

  • Corporate PCs: VPN/SSL inspection or policies can block the embedded EULA window.

Step 1: Update FSX Pro (recommended first)

  • Install the latest FSX Pro, restart Windows, and relaunch.

Step 2: Check internet and system time

  • Temporarily disable VPN/proxy for the first launch.

  • Confirm Windows date/time are correct.

Step 3: Clear the FSX Pro local data (fixes corrupted files)

  • Open File Explorer and go to:
    C:\Users\YOUR_ACCOUNT_FOLDER\AppData\LocalLow\ForeSightSports\FSX Pro

  • Select all files inside that FSX Pro folder and press Shift+Delete to permanently remove them.

  • If you don’t see AppData: press Windows+R, type %appdata%, press Enter, then go up one folder to AppData → LocalLow → ForeSightSports → FSX Pro.

  • Relaunch FSX Pro. help.foresightsports.com

Step 4: Repair the embedded web component (WebView2)

Step 5: First run as Administrator

  • Right-click FSX Pro → Run as administrator once, accept the Agreement, then open normally next time.

Step 6: Clean reinstall (only if still stuck)

  • Uninstall FSX Pro → reboot → reinstall the latest FSX Pro and launch.

Notes

  • Corporate environments: have IT allow embedded web views and FSX Pro sign-in endpoints; temporarily disable SSL inspection for first run.

  • If the EULA window is blank/black, GPU drivers or Compatibility Mode can interfere—update drivers and turn off Compatibility Mode.

FAQs

What does “clear the data folder” actually do?

It removes locally stored FSX Pro app data (cached/config files) so the app can recreate clean copies.

I can’t find AppData—what now?

Use Windows+R → %appdata%, then go up one to AppData → LocalLow → ForeSightSports → FSX Pro.

Why the WebView2 step?

The EULA/sign-in uses an embedded web panel. On Windows, WebView2 Runtime powers that; repairing it fixes many stuck/blank panels.

Do I lose purchases if I clear that folder or reinstall?

No—purchases are tied to your account, not that folder. You may need to sign in again.

Still need help? Submit a request with: FSX Pro version, Windows version, whether WebView2 is installed, and a short video/screenshot of the stuck screen.
