If you are having trouble using the download function of FSX PLAY (Found in v1.2.0.3 and above), please see the steps below:
If you have not yet downloaded and installed FSX PLAY v1.2.0.3 or above, please see the FSX PLAY Product Support Page.
Cause: The Download Manager Background Application is not currently running.
Error you may see:
Solution: Follow the steps below -
1. Open your Windows File Explorer
2. Locate this file location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports Experience Components\DownloadManager
3. Identify and Right-click on the ForesightSports.DownloadManager.exe application pictured below.
4. Select, Run As Administrator
5. Restart the PC
If the above steps do not work follow the steps below.
1. Open your Windows File Explorer
2. Locate this file location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports Experience Components\DownloadManager
3. Identify and Right-click on the ForesightSports.DownloadManager.exe application pictured below.
4. Click on "Properties"
5. Click on the second tab "Compatibility"
6. Tick "Run this program as an administrator"
7. Click "OK" or "Apply"
7. Restart the PC
Now launch the FSX PLAY software and attempt to use the download function. If after Launching FSX Play the Download Manager still not functioning restart the PC and try again.
