FSX Cannot Connect To GCQuad When Using FSX and iPad Simultaneously
Problem: You may be experiencing an issue connecting to FSX and the iPad app using your Wifi or Ethernet connections.
Explanation: The GCQuad firmware does support up to 2 wifi sockets. There are known report dealing with the internal Wifi Chip Firmware. This is noted as v1.6.4 and v1.6.5 Redpine firmware that causes data to the second Wifi socket to get removed.
Solution: While we do not recommend using the device in this fashion, upgrade the device to FW v1.3.1 or above will ensure that Redpine v1.6.8 firmware will be loaded onto the radio, thereby resolving the issue.
