Fix: No Image Display on PC Monitor or Projector

Fix: No Image Display on PC Monitor or Projector

If you’re not seeing an image on your PC monitor or projector, try the following checks before reaching out for support.

Quick Checks

  1. Confirm Power

    • Make sure the monitor or projector is plugged in and powered on.

    • Check that indicator lights are on.

  2. Check Cables and Connections

    • Ensure HDMI/DisplayPort cables are securely connected on both ends.

    • If your PC has a separate graphics card, connect the display cable to the graphics card output (not the motherboard).

    • Try a different cable if possible.

  3. Switch Inputs

    • Verify the monitor/projector is set to the correct input (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, etc.).

  4. Test with a Different Display

    • Connect your PC to another monitor or projector.

    • If the second display works, the issue is with your original monitor/projector.

  5. Test with a Different PC

    • Connect a different PC or laptop to the monitor/projector.

    • If it displays correctly, the issue is with your original PC.

Next Steps

If the above steps do not restore the image:

  • For PC issues, contact your computer manufacturer.

  • For monitor or projector issues, contact the display manufacturer.

Foresight Sports does not repair or replace PCs, monitors, or projectors.
