Cannot Change Subscription Due to Pending Changes

If you are unable to change or select a subscription and see a message indicating pending changes, it means a previous subscription update did not complete successfully.

This can occur when a backend update fails to process, leaving the subscription in a stuck state.

What You’ll See

You may see:

  • A banner stating the subscription has pending changes

  • Inability to select or modify a subscription plan

  • Subscription options appear locked or unresponsive

Resolution

This can typically be resolved directly from the subscription page by resetting the auto-renew setting.

  • Toggle Auto-Renew OFF

  • Click Save

  • Toggle Auto-Renew ON

  • Click Save again

This clears the pending state and allows changes to be made.

If the Issue Persists

If the issue is not resolved after toggling auto-renew:

  • Log out and back into your account, then try again

  • If the issue continues, contact support for further review

Notes

This issue has been linked to failed backend updates that prevent subscription changes from completing. Resetting the auto-renew setting forces the system to refresh the subscription state.
